Holiday Schedule & Inclement Weather Policy

Federal Holiday Observance

The Oxford Adult Day Center is closed in observance of the following federal holidays:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day
  • Presidents’ Day
  • Memorial Day
  • Juneteenth
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Indigenous Peoples’ Day
  • Veterans Day
  • Day after Thanksgiving Day*
  • Christmas Day

Please Note: If a holiday falls on a weekend, the Adult Day Center may observe the holiday on the nearest weekday. Families will be notified in advance of any holiday schedule changes.

Inclement Weather Policy

The safety of our participants, families, and staff is our highest priority.

During severe weather conditions, the Oxford Adult Day Center may delay opening, close early, or close for the day when conditions are considered unsafe.

If weather-related changes are necessary, families will be notified through:

  • Phone calls and/or text messages
  • The Oxford Adult Day Center website and social media pages
  • WFSB Channel 3 weather closings

Before traveling to the center during inclement weather, please check WFSB Channel 3 for the latest closing and delay information.

If transportation services are affected by weather conditions, our team will contact families directly with updated pickup and drop-off information.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to ensure everyone’s safety.
